Princess..... or Cookie Monster??

I said the most fun I had on vacation was the morning we spent at Hollywood Studios with Wendi and her gang-- because I got to harrass Nadya-- that's always fun. I couldn't resist scrapping the pictures of her attacking her giant cookie. There is hidden journaling behind the pictures......
.... and here's a close-up of the journaling.

Night time at Magic Kingdom

I haven't been around for a few days. We went shopping a couple of days last week for school clothes/ supplies, then I had a few days that I wasn't feeling well. Better today and trying to get back to posting and scrapping.

I'm still working on posting some of the vacation layouts that I've completed. There are 2 pages here of photos taken at night at the Magic Kingdom. Both layout pages also have pull outs with more photos/ journaling and embellishments. The large photos on the front of both pull outs are postcards... all other pics are mine.
I had to get that last Disney World ticket on a layout somewhere-- its the Pluto embellishment on this page.

The small Mickey's on the background are from a punch and the small "dots" are dew drops!

Magic Kingdom

Back to the Magic Kingdom. I finished these pages last week except for the journaling, so I got that done yesterday. I wanted our MK pages to be very bright and cheerful!

The next 2 pages are actually only one fold out.... I think I made it just a little too big!! LOL!! I couldn't get one good picture of it, so I took 2!!
The fold out also includes some Disney postcards.

More Hollywood Studios

These are the pages from Disney's Hollywood Studios. There's a couple of hidden surprises on these too!
This is the hidden journaling under one of the photos on the first layout.

And this is a little mini fold out. Laura loves the Beauty and the Beast show, but I didn't want the pics of the show to dominate the page, so I hid her a couple of extra ones underneath the one I put on the page.

Downtown Disney

This layout has a collage of the pics I took at Downtown Disney. I cut the big Mickey ears out of black cardstock and shaded the edges with a cat's eye chalk.

Eeyore

Poor little EEyore is my favorite Pooh character and he is so overlooked and neglected. Take for example, the photos we took at Downtown Disney... where is Eeyore?? Forgotten.... overlooked.... neglected..... Now, I have a confession to make... the paper I used on this layout was originally Tigger paper, but since Tigger was represented, I decided to switch it up and let Eeyore have a chance. I covered Tigger up with an Eeyore sticker and made a few other minor adjustments. It looks so much better now and I like having Eeyore recognized for the cute, thoughtful little donkey that he is!!

Studios Map

Am I the only person who refuses to call MGM by its new name: Disney's Hollywood Studios? That is the biggest challenge for me! Guess I'm too old to learn new tricks-- or names.

This is another of the pages with the park map. I matted it and stamped the ticket border on the right side.

Mickey and Minnie at the bottom are Jolee's.

What a Bunch of Characters!!

We started our day at Magic Kingdom with a visit with Donald!!
Paper is EK Success with a bunch of odd and end embellishments. Left upper corner is another of the Disney tickets.

Map to the Kingdom

This does not make a very attractive page, but its something I've wanted to do for all our trips and just never seem to get around to it for one reason or the other. This is one of the maps to Magic Kingdom. Things change every time we go.... my first trip was in 1977--- that map would be quite different from this one in 2009. I told Laura that I thought it would be fun for her and her kids (someday) to look at this map and see the differences from when they make their own trip! The big Mickey embellishment is from EK Success.... the smaller Mickey is one of our Disney World tickets. Mickey brads are from PaperWishes.

More from Chef Mickey's

Chef Mickey's is always one of our favorite places for a character meal and this trip was no different!

The paper is EK Success again. I also hid the journaling in a window under the photo.

Chef Mickey's

This is the first page from our visit to Chef Mickey's.... personally, I liked the photo with the Mickey ears added, but my daughter didn't so I took them off before they went in the album!! I think she was just upset because Kimmy's ears fit better than hers-- but I could have trimmed them down.

The paper is EK Success. The embellishments are all odds and ends that I have been hoarding for years, waiting for the next trip to Disney!!
